I'm Stephanie
I'm a fine artist, live wedding painter and contemporary portraitist. I am a wife, a mother, a leader and small business owner, and a mentor for artists.

The first time someone approached me to paint at their wedding, my gut screamed "SAY NO." The idea of standing among hundreds of total strangers and creating a painting seemed absolutely crazy to me. After all, creating a painting is a journey in itself, the process of which I never imagine sharing with the outside world.

I accepted the job. To my great surprise, what began as a fearful step towards a fleeting chance at a paycheck, turned into a crystal clear calling for me as an artist.
I used my talents, knowledge of sales and marketing, and the courage that comes with being a broke and "starving" artist, and booked one wedding. Then another, and then another.
I was wingin' it for years, locking in key pieces of information about the job as I learned it. It took years to find the confidence to say out loud "I am a wedding painter."
